Turlock, CA – The Ted Howze for Congress campaign is pleased to announce the endorsement of San Joaquin County Supervisor Tom Patti, who represents District 3, encompassing the cities of Lathrop, Manteca and Stockton. Patti is a second-generation business owner and a graduate of local schools.
“Congress isn’t getting the job done, especially for California – they are failing,” Patti lamented. “But there’s hope to turn that tide around beginning here in our region, and that’s one reason I’m endorsing Ted Howze for Congress. Ted’s a good conservative and understands San Joaquin Valley needs and people better than anyone. But his most important asset is that Ted has never forgotten his roots or what’s it’s like struggle in the face of poverty or tragedy.”
Supervisor Patti joins ten other elected officials who have endorsed Dr. Howze as the most qualified candidate for California’s 10th Congressional District.
Background: Dr. Ted Howze is a lifelong resident of the Central Valley and former Turlock Councilmember. Ted grew up on a farm south of Fresno where he developed a love for our valley, became conversational in Spanish, and worked in the fields through college. He’s worked for the past 24 years as a Large Animal Veterinarian. He is the proud father of three sons and has developed a number of successful businesses, including one of the first local dot.com companies.
In 2013, Ted’s first wife Sharon passed away suddenly due to an undiagnosed heart condition that could have been treated. That experience drew Ted’s focus to a healthcare system that consistently puts profiteering ahead of the health of patients. Recently married to his second wife Laura, a Catholic High School teacher, both have dedicated themselves to critically reforming healthcare for all Americans.
