Turlock, CA – Support from leaders throughout the 10th Congressional District continue to coalesce around the Ted Howze for Congress campaign, as it announced today the endorsement from Turlock Mayor Amy Bublak, a retired law enforcement officer who has served on the Turlock Council since 2008.
Mayor Bublak wrote in a statement, “I’m endorsing Ted Howze for Congress because I’ve worked with Ted. I have personally witnessed his deep knowledge of complex government budgeting, expertise in creating jobs through economic development and commitment to our local communities. Ted will serve the 10th Congressional District well and help improve the daily quality of life for all Turlock residents.”
Background: Dr. Ted Howze is a lifelong resident of the Central Valley and former Turlock Councilmember. Ted grew up on a farm south of Fresno where he developed a love for our valley, became conversational in Spanish, and worked in the fields through college. He’s worked for the past 24 years as a Large Animal Veterinarian. He is the proud father of three sons and has developed a number of successful businesses, including one of the first local dot com companies. He and his wife Laura, a Catholic High School teacher, have both dedicated themselves to critically reforming healthcare for all Americans.
