CD-10 – Dr. Ted Howze has submitted over 2,150 valid signatures to become a “voter nominated candidate” in lieu of paying a filing fee to qualify for the March 2020 ballot, reinforcing the substantial enthusiasm he continues to receive from voters across the 10th Congressional District.
“I have been committed to personally connecting with Valley voters since Day 1,” said Dr. Howze. “I know that simply paying a filing fee is no substitute for the real conversations I have with local people about the issues they face on a daily basis. The voices and opinions of our Valley are indispensable.”
Just last week, noted Democratic political consultant Mike Lynch predicted that his client Adam Gray “will be one of the few” to collect sufficient signatures to qualify for the ballot. Notably, records show that Dr. Howze collected well over 400 more signatures than the three-term incumbent Assemblyman.
Background: Dr. Ted Howze was raised on Central Valley farms and worked his way through school as a Firefighter and EMT.
